Sarah AlGhamdi, knowing as (SARAH WAFIA) is a forensic anthropology consultant, academic writer, and visiting lecturer specializing in the science of human identification. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Genomics and Biotechnology from King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia), and a Master of Science in Forensic Osteology and Field Recovery Methods, with a specialized focus on skeletal analysis and recovery in forensic and archaeological contexts.

Sarah’s academic and professional career is rooted in a multidisciplinary approach, bridging forensic anthropology, biological imaging, and facial reconstruction sciences. She is the founder of SW-Forensicanthro, an academic platform dedicated to public science communication, scholarly collaboration, and the advancement of forensic anthropology education in the Middle East.

Her work has involved collaborative research with leading institutions including the Canterbury Archaeological Trust, Panacea Cooperative Research, and the University of Kent. She is frequently invited to lecture at universities and speak on expert panels and podcast platforms, where she shares insights on forensic methodologies, identification technologies, and the future of anthropological imaging.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Facial Aging and Forensic Bioimaging, Sarah’s research integrates medical imaging, 3D morphometrics, and machine-assisted facial prediction for age estimation and human identification. Her academic journey is driven by the belief that technology, when combined with anthropological expertise, can offer groundbreaking tools in both forensic casework and historical identification.

Sarah is also the founder of OSSENTIA—Forensic Anthropology Research Hub—Where Bones Speak Identity, an emerging forensic imaging and identity research unit committed to interdisciplinary innovation. OSSENTIA will serve as a collaborative ground for academic and governmental entities to advance standards and tools in forensic anthropology and bioimaging. The hub is now open to partnerships with accredited institutions and authorities globally.
